How Her Coworking Space Inspired the Next Venture

In this episode we are talking with Jill Kaufenberg, a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Lift Bridge Cowork and Chopper Mill. She founded Lift Bridge in 2019 after renovating the 1885 building to its original design.  Jill found inspiration for her second business, Chopper Mill, from the members who came through her door every day.  She was also inspired by her son who constantly would "misplace" his mittens, so she took the leap to found Chopper Mill, Inc., a premium children's mitten company which and the mittens are designed by Jill in Minnesota in 2020 and tested by her own kids.

Jill shares her background and how she came up with the idea of creating a coworking space. She dives into tips for entrepreneurs who are looking to create and expand their coworking business. Jill also shares what keeps her inspired in the day to day and what it was like stepping into the apparel industry.
