Nicole Bekerian is the owner and founder of Simply the Best by Nicole. Her journey started in May 2021, when she decided to start her own business and pursue a dream that she have had since she was a little girl.

Amber launched Canary in a Goldmine after becoming discouraged by the harmful and wasteful practices in the fashion industry. With more than a decade of experience in the retail and visual merchandising fields, she wanted to create a more sustainable way for consumers to participate in the fashion world. Canary in a Goldmine reduces textile waste going into landfills and reduces demand for new clothing production by extending the life of garments that have already been produced.
